Good Day,
I am petitioning for exemption under Section 333, which is designed to enable limited, low-risk commercial UAV operations. My commercial interests are very mild and include small event ariel photography opportunities using small UAV's such as the DJI Phantom 2. If you are not familiar with this UAV, it is very small and weighs only a couple pounds and capable of hoisting a small camera aloft. This unit is relatively inexpensive and comes right off the self and out of the box ready to fly. An example of the type of events I hope to photograph are weddings, birthday parties, nature etc that occur in sparsely populated areas such as a park, on the beach, or in my neighborhood.

From a professional and character view, I am a licensed United States Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Captain and extremely aware of the importance of responsible machinery operation. None of my activities will ever exceed the altitude or range restrictions mandated by the FAA, nor will my activities occur anywhere near manned air traffic patterns or pose any threat to life or property.

I respectfully request exemption under Section 333 to enable me limited, low-risk commercial UAV operations for the activities stated above. I truly appreciate your time regarding my endeavour and look forward to any feedback or additional information you require.

Best Regards,
Captain Ryan Eisenman
